Frequently Asked Questions
Here are the questions we hear most often about the admission process.
Can I drop by at any time for a school tour?
Due to the high interest in our program, tours are held in the mornings by appointment. We are happy to answer general questions via our contact form or on the phone. You may also schedule a tour online.
Who should attend the school tour?
We warmly encourage both parents or guardians and your child to attend the school tour. We believe that choosing a Montessori school is the beginning of a meaningful partnership between your family and our school community.
Your visit is an opportunity for your child to explore the environment, begin feeling comfortable in their new surroundings, and experience the warmth of our school community. It also allows us to get to know your family, learn about your child's individual needs, and share how our Montessori approach supports their development.
Our goal is for both you and your child to feel welcomed, comfortable, and at home from your very first visit.
Is there a waiting list?
Yes, depending on the program.
How far in advance may I submit an application?
We encourage families to begin the enrollment process as early as possible, as classroom availability is limited.
Our annual open enrollment begins in January, with priority placement offered to currently enrolled families and siblings. Once returning families have confirmed their enrollment, available spaces are offered to new families.
Beginning your Montessori journey in our Infant program is often the best opportunity to secure a place and enjoy continuity through our Toddler and Primary programs.
We welcome families to schedule a tour and explore enrollment opportunities well in advance of their desired start date. Early enrollment is strongly encouraged to maximize your opportunity for placement.
May I request a specific classroom/teacher?
Our first priority is helping every child develop a secure, trusting relationship with their Montessori teacher. We believe this connection provides the foundation for independence, confidence, and meaningful learning.
Classroom placement is thoughtfully determined by considering each child’s individual needs, developmental stage, personality, and relationships with their teachers and peers. We also strive to create balanced, diverse, multi-age Montessori classrooms, taking into account age, gender, classroom dynamics, and available enrollment.
Our goal is to create a welcoming, nurturing environment where every child feels a sense of belonging, develops meaningful relationships, and has the opportunity to thrive.
What are the factors that determine my child’s placement?
Depending on the openings that are available, our goal is to balance the classrooms by age and gender of the children.
